I cannot wait for spring break bc i am taking 19 hours! Last year I went to SXSW in Austin, Tx and San Pedro, Belize the yr before that.

What i've been doing..
This past summer I interviewed with Steven Seagal to become his personal assistant. I went to New Orleans for 1 week by myself. A&E was filming a reality show on Seagal b/c he is in a blues band and part of the NOLA swat team. It was the craziest week of my life but I choose to finish school and go after what I want (which doesn't include being an assistant.
I've been working with Charley Burch (music producer/manager; out of Memphis) helping him promote shows in Oxford, Memphis, and Seagal's show in NOLA. If you’re my friend on facebook you've prob got an invite somewhere. Charley wants to own a blues bar in Tokyo which is awesome because I also speak Japanese. His band Super Chikan is in this month’s edition of Esquire magazine on page 144. The infidelle’s are the next big British pop sound. Super Chikan (out of Clarksdale, ms) played the opening night of Rooster’s blues house in Oxford, Ms. A Japanese film crew was there filming the show. They are like the MTV of Japan and it was really cool b/c I was able to speak to the main host of the show and accept business cards the “proper way”. According to the Japanese culture you have to accept the business card with both hands, read every word, and then bow. My friends were all watching and it was kind of funny.
